The challenge

Like many retailers, JHP Fashion faced a significant challenge with high return rates due to incorrect sizing, which not only impacted their operational costs but also affected customer satisfaction. By offering smart sizing, they wanted to reduce that stream of returns and at the same time stand out with a high level of service to their customers

Solution

Over a period of two months, we conducted an A/B test with JHP Fashion to evaluate the impact of Faslet's smart sizing solution on their return rates and customer satisfaction. The test involved two distinct groups: one using the traditional sizing method and the other utilizing our advanced size recommendation tool. The objective was to measure the difference in return rates, particularly due to sizing issues, and to assess overall customer satisfaction with the shopping experience.

Results

The results were clear—customers who used Faslet's smart sizing solution experienced significantly fewer returns and reported higher satisfaction levels, confirming the effectiveness of our technology in delivering a more accurate and user-friendly shopping experience.

  • Reduction in Return Rates: JHP Fashion saw a 7.22% reduction in return rates within the first three months of implementing Faslet's solution. Customers were more satisfied with their purchases, as they received items that fit them well.
  • Increase in sales: With more confident customers, JHP Fashion experienced a 5.01% increase in sales. Shoppers were more likely to complete their purchases, knowing they were receiving accurate size recommendations.
Conclusion

By offering smart sizing JHP Fashion is not only making it easier and nicer for their customers to shop online and find their right size, they are also increasing sales and reducing returns at the same time. Everybody smiles! 💚
