OFM is the first menswear retailer to launch the Virtual Try-On in collaboration with Faslet

In this case study, we explore how our Virtual Try-On (VTO) feature enhanced the digital shopping experience for Only for Men (OFM). By adding VTO service to their existing size recommendation tool, OFM aimed to provide customers with an even more immersive and confidence-boosting way to find the right fit.

Only for Men (OFM) is a prominent Dutch menswear retailer that began its journey in 2002 in Reusel. Over the years, it has expanded to 23 physical stores across the Netherlands, complemented by a comprehensive online platform. The company's philosophy centers on providing a seamless shopping experience, combining expert style advice, in-store tailoring services, and even amenities like barbershops and refreshments. This approach ensures that customers can find everything they need in one place, whether shopping online or in-store .

Collaboration with Faslet


Two years ago, OFM. partnered with Faslet to tackle the growing challenge of returns in online menswear. By integrating our smart size advice technology, we helped OFM. connect customer data with personalized fit recommendations, which led to a significant drop in return rates. The launch of our Virtual Try-On (VTO) marks the next natural step in this collaboration and further elevates the digital shopping experience.

 

The challenge

OFM. is the first men's fashion retailer in the Netherlands to launch the innovative Virtual Try-On (VTO) as a beta test on the webshop. This technology makes it possible to try on clothing virtually via the camera of your smartphone or laptop. The first signals are positive, but the functionality will be further evaluated and optimized in the coming period.

Initial Results

  •  83% of users give a 'thumbs up' after using the Virtual Try-On - a strong indication that the user experience is well received.
  • The conversion is 1.6 times higher among VTO users than the site average, which indicates commercial potential, although further validation is needed.
